Depending on when your booking starts, you may either have to pay the full amount immediately or make a deposit. The remaining amount will then be debited automatically.
In this article you will find all the important information about the payment process for bookings on PaulCamper. Here we explain the payment deadlines and methods to help you plan your trip.
Bookings that are more than 30 days in the future
If your booking is more than 30 days in the future, the payment will be split:
- Deposit: You pay a deposit of 30% of the rental price plus any additional services (such as cleaning or booked extras) and the booking fee. This deposit secures your booking and gives you enough time to plan your trip.
- Final payment: The remaining amount is due 30 days before the start of the booking. The remaining amount will be automatically debited using the same payment method you used for the deposit. Make sure that your bank account or credit card has sufficient funds. We will remind you of the debit in good time by e-mail.
Important: If the landlord has selected the "Strict" cancellation policy, you must pay the full amount immediately to complete your booking.
Bookings that start in less than 30 days
If your booking starts in less than 30 days, it is required that you pay the full amount immediately. This ensures that your booking is secured and you can start your campervan adventure without delay.
Additional notes on payment
- Early final payment: You can also pay the remaining amount more than 30 days before the start of the booking. To do this, go to your booking overview:
- Log in to PaulCamper.
- Click on "Bookings" and select the relevant booking under "Upcoming".
- Here you can pay the remaining amount for your booking.
Important note: Please do not make the final payment by bank transfer. Payment must be made via the system of our new payment service provider. A transfer to an old bank account will be refunded, but this can take up to 30 days.

PaulCamper accepts the following payment methods:
- Credit card: Fast and secure payment with your credit card.
- Klarna: Flexible payment with Klarna, ideal for convenient and secure processing.
Invoices and fees
The invoice will only be issued for the booking fee. As PaulCamper is not a contractual partner, it is not possible for us to issue an invoice for services that we do not provide ourselves. Please contact your landlord or landlady for an invoice showing the rental price and the individual items.
